Reedisms

Over the years there have been quite a few quotable pearls of wisdom (“Why do they call it water polo?” Laura c. 2000 ) but in more recent times the kids have started taking over cute/important phrases that should be remembered.

“Daddy, don’t cry if you get hurt, cry if you lose” 4 year old Ella to Tim on the eve of a Rugby cup final.

“Heavy me” – invitation from either Twin (aged 2/3) to “carry me” – based on the fact that every time they would get picked up the porter would exclaim “You’re heavy”.

“Tuck in me!” regularly shouted by either Twin (aged 2/3) at bed time.

“Daddy – you’ll never believe who came to school today … GOD!” 5 year old Ella following a visit from Fr Peter (who received a premature promotion!).

“Trap me in” – Either twin requesting to be strapped in to their car seats 3.75-4 🙂
