It wasn’t all Pool

A lot of the holiday was spent in the pool but we did break out one day to go to the market at Brantome (Sophie in pink, Alice in blue):

 

Grand-Etang-de-la-Jemaye

Other than Brantome the only other place we branched out to was La Jemaye. A beautiful lake with beach and canoes, also a brilliant buffet restaurant!

Other bits and bobs

The twins managed to play very well together all(?) holiday:

Mama and Beard Grandad took Ella to the local village’s (Lisle) summer fete, highlights were hooking a duck to win a “guitar” and some assisted trampolining:
