January 2016 was a fun month.

Ella’s Birthday

Ella turned 6. For her party she wanted friends round, we picked them all up from school one Friday night and “crocodile march”ed them back to our house. The party was great fun (i.e. total, unmitigated mayhem). We hired a face painter Ella requested a “Twilight Sparkle” my little pony birthday cake, Laura mistakenly made a “Rainbow Dash” one. This was the end of the world (for 2 minutes).

On the Sunday night we (5+ “Other” Grandad) met up with Uncle Shaun, Auntie Sharon, Lauren, Daniel and Jessica at Pizza Hut.

Tim finally got round to putting up the girls’ Elephant picture that Laura had commissioned to depict a “big girl” elephant with 2 little twin elephants – VERY cute.

Easy Riders
